In the middle of the Ammergau Alps, in a unique natural setting, lies Germany's highest moor village. Bad Kohlgrub.

The magnificent farmhouses with their well-kept gardens and the artistic Lüftl paintings show that the Bavarian roots lie here.

We as the Lengdobler family have been welcoming you as guests in our house for many years, initially only as a guest house and since the renovation in 2023. now with 3 holiday apartments and an additional single room.

The Lengdoblers have been living in Bad Kohlgrub for generations. This includes the Bavarian dialect and the typical Bavarian cosiness. Customs and tradition are very important.

There is parking available directly at the house, which is included in the price.

Location
Located right in the center of the village in a quiet side street of Bad Kohlgrub, you will find a local bakery in the neighboring house and a delicatessen can be reached in 2 minutes. The local mountain Hörnle (around 1500m high) invites you to linger and offers sporty balance in summer and winter and a wonderful view of Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze.

Reviews from our guests
The apartment is tastefully furnished in a rural style. Everything you need for a stay is there. There are even two TVs (one in the bedroom, one in the kitchen/living room with sofa bed). There are also two separate shower rooms. The location is perfect, quiet, the bakery for the morning rolls is right next door, an Edeka supermarket is also nearby. The apartment is the ideal base for trips to the mountains.

Very relaxing. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable, the landlady was very friendly and helpful. My dog and I felt very comfortable.

Equipment. Separate rooms, shower and toilet. Magnificent view from the balcony. Living room; Breakfast table in the morning sun. All wishes were taken into account. The house was very quiet.
